Treadle Four was a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Jan Woods from 1974 to 1977 with gallery / studio located at 111 Yorkville Avenue, the creative heart of Toronto Ontario.
Studio space was later moved to Adelaide Street East.
The city of Toronto was alive with the celebration of commercial interior design. Through the invaluable support of designers David Bodrug and Robert Chenier the company soared from a standing start to showcase commissions in Toronto’s commercial interior scene in three short years.
